Am I Eligible?

HIPPY Ottawa is funded by Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and requires that priority be given to Permanent Residents, Conventional Refugees or Protected Persons, as well as newcomer families with a work permit.

Other requirements and considerations:

I have a 3 or 4-year-old child​

I am a low-income family 

I live in Ottawa-Vanier or Ottawa-South

I would like to build and maintain a strong relationship with my child through play and learning activities

I want to actively prepare my child for success in school

I would like to develop my own literacy skills or my ESL / FSL level
